Brief description of works:
Completed turnkey works on the installation of six FG Wilson diesel generator sets with a total capacity of 9,550 kVA, which provide guaranteed power supply to the Parkovy data center in Kyiv

In 2013, the largest commercial Data Center in Ukraine was commissioned. All parameters of the data center meet the requirements of TIER III according to the international standard TIA-942. The scale of the “Parkovy” data center, applied engineering solutions and implemented equipment of the world’s leading manufacturers puts it on a par with the best Data Centers in the world.

Engineers of MADEK company developed all technical solutions for backup power supply based on FG Wilson diesel generator sets. A necessary condition for redundancy was to ensure the operability of the emergency DSU system in the event of failure of any of the elements.
NPP “MADEK” “turnkey” design, supply, installation and commissioning of the following systems and equipment:

automatic refueling systems;
ventilation systems;
exhaust gas removal systems;
fire extinguishing systems;
noise suppression systems;
synchronization power shields;
more than 300 m of 2500 A power busbars;
6 DSU FG Wilson: 4 pcs. – P1700R1 and 2 pcs. – P1375E3;
fuel storage tanks with a volume of 40 tons, designed for 24 hours of continuous operation of the DSU.

Placing the data center in the park area imposed unprecedentedly high requirements for noise reduction, which were successfully implemented by the engineers of the MADEK company.
The total capacity of installed FG Wilson diesel generators is 9550 kVA. Of them, 4 DGU R1700R1 for backup power supply of technological equipment of the Data Center, working synchronously, and 2 DGU R1375E3 – for the general infrastructure of the object.
