Shopping and entertainment center, Kyiv
Field of operation: Commercial real estate
The task:
Creation of an autonomous and independent source of electricity supply, heating and cooling for operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Type of cogeneration plants: FG WILSON PG1250B2
Total electrical power: 5000 kW
Total thermal power: 6250 kW
Task solution:
The completed implementation of the trigeneration station project (electricity, heat, cold) consists of 5 FG WILSON gas-piston units of the PG1250B2 model with a single electrical capacity of 1 MW each with systems for the utilization of station heat. A feature of the object is the complete lack of connection to the main electrical networks.
Four stations work as the main source of power, the fifth station is used as a backup station, as well as during maintenance. In winter, the utilized heat from the operation of the gas piston stations is used to heat the shopping center. In the summer, the produced heat enters absorption refrigerating machines, which convert thermal energy into cold water for centralized conditioning of the facility. Thus, the maximum use of the energy potential of fuel, which is used all year round, takes place. The first category of power supply is provided by a backup diesel power plant FG WILSON P800 (800 kVA).
