Moving the generator
The base of the generator is specially designed to make it easy to move. Improper handling can cause serious damage to the generator and its components.
The generator set can be easily lifted and moved by the base when using a fork lift.
If regular movement of the generator set is expected, additional “Oil Field Skid” lifting devices are provided for such a lift.
Never attach slings to the engine or generator!
For lifting the generator unit from its base, there are places for attaching slings. To prevent damage to the unit, carabiners and chains of appropriate length and strength, as well as a spacer beam, must be used. If the unit is supposed to be lifted regularly, an additional strapping with one-point lifting is provided.
