Noise-absorbing hoods

Noise-absorbing hoods (casings) are designed to reduce the noise level during the operation of the power plant and allow diesel generators to be installed in the open air, guaranteeing excellent operational characteristics in harsh environmental conditions.

• All FG Wilson hoods are equipped with a built-in exhaust silencer;
• Noise reduction is provided by high-quality materials that are harmless to humans, resistant to dust and lubricants (noise reduction in accordance with the requirements of stage II of the COUNCIL 2000/14/EC, entered into force on January 3, 2006);
• Hoods are made of high-quality galvanized steel, which increases the service life of the casing, making it resistant to corrosion under the influence of atmospheric precipitation;
• Rubber seals on the door and control panel viewing window prevent moisture, dust and debris from getting under the hood;
• Wide sliding doors allow you to easily service the diesel generator without obstructing access to the main components of the diesel generator;
• The presence of locks on the doors makes it impossible for outsiders to freely access the diesel generator systems;
• All the main components, including the filler neck and the control panel of the diesel power plant, are located inside the hood, which prevents acts of vandalism and free access to the power plant nodes;
