In what configuration is a liquid-cooled diesel generator delivered?
Diesel power plants of most manufacturers are supplied in the following configuration:
- Liquid-cooled diesel engine with a speed of 1500 rpm. or 3000 rpm.
- Synchronous alternating current generator
- Generator unit control panel
- Engine speed regulator (mechanical or electronic)
- The base frame on which the diesel engine and synchronous generator are mounted
- Anti-vibration cushions between the frame and the engine or between the frame and the foundation
- The fuel tank, which is most often mounted in the frame of the generator set
