EMS is an energy management system

  • The Energy Management System (EMS – Energy Management System) is a complex of hardware and software that allows you to optimize the amount of energy consumption, forecast and control the processes of using the required amount of energy resources.
  • The MADEK company proposes to implement an energy management system based on devices manufactured by the SATEC plant (Israel).

Ключові фактори створення системи енергоменеджемента (EMS):

  • The difference between tariff plans for electricity supply (can reach up to 20%)
  • Choosing the most economical source of energy supply
  • Subscription fee for connection (infrastructure fee)
  • Increasing energy efficiency and instant analysis of the result of implementing energy-efficient solutions
  • Control of the quality and quantity of electricity
  • Energy balance and control of energy consumption

Stages of implementation of the EMS system:

Typical places for installing SATEC devices

  • Main entries (delimitation points of balance sheet ownership)
  • The main indicators of power consumers
  • Variable seasonal / daily consumers
  • Consumers whose reliable operation depends most on the quality of electricity
  • Control and accounting of energy consumption of tenants’ resources
  • Common areas & nbsp; (It is possible to use a “virtual counter”)

System capabilities

At what tariff will the total payment for electricity be cheaper?

Instant calculation. Comparison of payment programs. Visual interface.

Heat map

Ability to visually monitor the minimum and maximum consumption of electricity. Time and day of maximum consumption.

Ability to visually monitor the minimum and maximum consumption of electricity. Time and day of maximum consumption.

You can compare the working hours of one of the electricity consumers. It is worth paying attention to 3 kW, which is always there. 3 kW * 10 hours, that's 30 kWh every day. = UAH 1,800 expenses per month that can be removed.

Detailed schedule of electricity consumption by area

Convenient tracking of anomalies (deviation from the trend)

Comparison of consumption over time

Virtual appliances: sum up consumption from several inputs in real time. In this way, we can control the total consumption of the object even if it receives power from different sources.

An example of savings

Monitoring of ventilation

From the schedule, we can see that the ventilation operation has a constant schedule that repeats every day. On 22.09, the ventilation was switched to economic mode. Remove night consumption. The peak consumption is reduced, saving about 4 kWh * 8760 = 70,000 UAH / year.

On the night from September 22 to September 23, this lighting was turned off from 11:50 p.m. to 8 a.m. On other days, lighting works 24/7. Potential savings = 5 kW * 8 hours = 40 kWh / day = 29,000 UAH / year.

EMS - energy management system allows:

  • Reduce electricity costs by 10-15%
  • Identify “bottlenecks” and problem areas in the enterprise’s power grid
  • Provide highly accurate accounting of the quantity and quality of electricity
  • Discretion of electricity accounting for each site or stand of the data center
  • Ensure the flexibility and compactness of the solution (1 BFM device – 54 meters / measuring points)
  • Integrate with other BMS, SCADA, ERP, CRM, accounting systems
  • The payback period is up to 10-12 months after the start of work
  • Control from any computer or mobile device
  • Quick analysis with a minimum of information about the operating mode and loads
  • Visual display of data
